International Greek photographer Stratis crossed over into fashion from a fine art background in 2002. He has exhibited his work in established galleries in Athens, London and New York.
Mixing elements of fashion in a cinematic approach into his conceptual trademark images, Stratis is always telling a “story” behind the picture.
His extended client list includes Christian Dior, Frankie Morello, Levis, L'oreal, Johnny Walker, Pal Zileri, Galleries Lafayette, Gieves and Hawkes etc.
While magazine collaborations include Dazed and Confused, Vogue Russia, L'Officiel Paris, jalouse, GQ UK, Interview (New York), French Magazine, Amica etc.
In Sep 2011 Stratis newest project NakedButSafe will be launched in Milan. A publication made with intense , sharp vision for all things beautiful but real. No post production will ever be added to the images. Fashion, portraiture, architecture and fine art. A ground breaking, bi-annual new mediun, with worldwide distribution, were the reality and true artistry of each contributing artist is presented absolutely raw.
I m very happy and honoured to be included in issue No1 with a portrait of CONQUISTADOR menswear, photographed by the mastermind behind this great new venture Stratis himself.
